A pioneer in the development of high altitude winch rescue and mountain flying techniques, he has conducted helicopter rescues in all parts of British Columbia and the Yukon for more than twenty years. He has not only saved many lives under hazardous and difficult conditions, but has also raised safety standards for the entire aviation community.
