By turns a teacher, public servant and Canada's consul general in Marseille and Monaco, he is known primarily as one of the earliest proponents of adult education in Quebec. He is also a pioneer in this field with UNESCO in his role as first secretary to the National Canadian Commission. His accomplishments at the regional, national and international levels have contributed to our country's development.
