A retired school teacher devoted to his Prince Edward Island community, he has generously spent countless hours caring for the visually impaired, the learning disabled, multiple sclerosis patients and senior citizens. He is an outstanding volunteer, always willing to organize a variety of outings, to visit with hospital patients or nursing home residents, and to help with employment programs for the disabled.
