A highly skilled surgeon and former director of the Chatila refugee camp hospital in Lebanon, he is a hero who has lived and worked in a war zone environment for many years in order to save lives. Dedicated to fighting oppression, repression, racism, poverty, disease and ignorance, he is true to his Hippocratic oath, an inspiration to the medical profession and a humanist who is alleviating some of the misery in this world.
