A prominent businessman of Summerside, Prince Edward Island, he has given a life time of service to his community, particularly in the area of hospital and health care and as a member of the Y's Men's Club, where he raised thousands of dollars through the philately program. He has received many awards in recognition of his dedication and leadership as a volunteer.
