For over twenty-five years this marine biologist distinguished himself as Deputy Minister of the Quebec Department of Fisheries. While serving in this capacity, he endeavoured to promote fisheries resource management and the establishment of several experimental stations. An ardent supporter of the arts and numerous social initiatives, he has also been involved in the restoration of an authentic flour mill which bears witness to our heritage.
