A native of Saskatchewan, this agricultural economist is the former Dean of the University of Saskatchewan's College of Agriculture, a former Commissioner of the Saskatchewan Land Bank Commission, Chairman of both the Saskatchewan 4-H Foundation and the Saskatchewan Task Force on Rural Development and President of the Canadian Agricultural Economics Society. By his leadership in agricultural education, he has trained the youth of the province to be among the world's best farmers.
