A United Church missionary doctor specializing in tropical medicine. For more than twenty years in Angola she supervised three hospitals and amply demonstrated her devotion to the Umbundu people. After three months of political imprisonment during the Angolan civil war, and her subsequent return to Canada in 1977, she now serves in Zaire.
