A member of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, this Winnipeg educator has served with distinction since 1973 as principal of the first school to offer a French immersion program. Thanks to her dynamic personality and her perseverence, an increasing number of Manitoba children are getting the chance to study and communicate in both of Canada's official languages.
