This Montreal director-producer played a leading role in the development of the Canadian film industry, both at home and abroad. In addition to a hundred documentaries, television programs and short films, he produced and/or directed upwards of 20 feature films, including Violette Nozière, Atlantic City USA, La guerre dé feu et Les Plouffe.
