After distinguished war service, he embarked on a career in real estate development in the Regina area which earned him a reputation for business acumen across Western Canada. He is equally well-known as a supporter of his church, generous contributor both financially and personally to many charities and causes, and as the major contributor to the success of Notre Dame College in Wilcox, Saskatchewan.
