Throughout his sixty-year career as a music teacher at Mount Royal College in Calgary, his first priority was the instilling of a love of music in his students. Although equally active as a composer, pianist and examiner with the Western Board of Music, he is best known for his long- term contributions to the enrichment of the lives of hundreds of Alberta's young people.
