Thirty years ago, Mrs. MacNeill began taking severely mentally-challenged children into her house at Dieppe, New Brunswick, and her summer cottage at Shediac. Since then she has been foster mother to as many as fourteen at a time, to a grand total of 368. Offering them the security and affection of' a family home, she has cheerfully given of herself in a work, the burden of which only a few are able to bear.
