Known as "Pullen of the Arctic", Captain Thomas C. Pullen accumulated a prodigious record of Arctic achievements during his career in the Royal Canadian Navy. Since his retirement he has gone on to a second career as one of North America's foremost authorities on Arctic navigation and icebreaking.
