Samuel Gewurz is a visionary leader in Montréal’s architectural landscape. A renowned developer and conservationist for more than 50 years, he is recognized as a pioneer in the field of green building, evidenced in his large-scale urban projects on Île des Soeurs. In addition to his distinguished career, he has dedicated his life to community service and philanthropy through his eponymous family foundation, which supports educational institutions in Canada and abroad, the Urban Planning Scholarship at McGill University, the Montreal General Hospital, and the MADA Community Centre.
