Passionate about music, Denyse McCann has spent decades working to enhance the festivalgoer experience. As co-founder and former vice-president of operations of L’Équipe Spectra, she played a key role in the creation and growth of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal , notably ensuring that there would always be a number of free concerts during the festival. Preferring to work behind the scenes rather than in the limelight, she also collaborated on the first edition of the MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE festival and managed activities for the Maison du Festival.
