Archaeologist and curator Jack Brink has fostered greater public appreciation of Alberta’s Precontact past. Engaging the Blackfoot people and surrounding communities in his explorations, this internationally recognized expert on mass bison hunting and Indigenous rock art was the driving force in the development of two of Canada’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, and Writing-on-Stone / Áísínai’pi.
