As Commanding Officer of the United Nations Protection Force Combat Engineer Unit in the former Yugoslavia from September 1992 to March 1993, Major Bradley was responsible for military, political and economic activities that had a successful impact and that far exceeded expectations given the resources under his command. His expertise in mine clearance and mine education resulted in plans and recommendations adopted by United Nations forces. Overall, he set an outstanding example of true professionalism and international service.
