While transferred to Lincolnshire, United Kingdom, from May 2020 to December 2021, Corporal Ferland was deployed twice with the Royal Navy. Demonstrating outstanding initiative and exceptional expertise, he reconfigured and restructured files and network connections for signals intelligence systems, increasing the efficiency and accuracy of signal analysis processing. Corporal Ferland’s valiant contribution resulted in near real time continuous improvement of Task Force Protection, and these changes have been instituted throughout the Royal Navy fleet.
