Meritorious Service Medal (civil division)
As President of the Kamloops Canada Games Society, Mr. Poleschuk successfully oversaw the 1993 Canada Summer Games hosted by the City of Kamloops in British Columbia. He worked tirelessly with an army of dedicated community volunteers and staff members in order to realize this four-year commitment. Throughout, he displayed outstanding professionalism and exceptional leadership. The event generated a sense of national pride and unity, and attracted thousands of athletes, officials and spectators from all of the provinces and territories.
