From September 1996 until her brutal murder in December 1996, Ms. Malloy was the Medical Administrator of the Red Cross Hospital in Novye Atagi, Chechnya. An outstanding humanitarian, Ms. Malloy volunteered for overseas assignments with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). An optimistic and compassionate individual, Ms. Malloy selflessly devoted her life to providing assistance to conflict victims of war-torn countries.
