Economist and former Toronto Hydro commissioner Jack Gibbons led the Ontario Clean Air Alliance’s campaign, which was instrumental in phasing out the use of coal-fired energy plants. For over 10 years, he implemented change at the community and provincial government levels, which led to the last plant being decommissioned in 2014.
