Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, delivered remarks at the 2025 Arctic Inspiration Prize Awards Ceremony.
The Arctic Inspiration Prize recognizes and celebrates projects created and led by people in the North. The award also empowers northerners to bring their initiatives to life and drive the changes they want to see in their communities.
I want to thank each of you for putting forward such groundbreaking projects that not only address pressing needs in northern communities, but also drive real change throughout the Arctic.
