Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada, received the symbolic first poppy of the 2020 National Poppy Campaign in a virtual ceremony from Thomas Irvine, Dominion President of The Royal Canadian Legion.
