This year, 215 athletes represented Canada at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games.
Although Their Excellencies the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, and Mr. Whit Fraser were not in Beijing, they were thrilled to support Team Canada from Rideau Hall, and were watching along with Canadians across the country.
As the 2022 Winter Olympics Games came to a close, the Governor General congratulated all the athletes for a stellar showing.
