Conference of the Lieutenant Governors and Territorial Commissioners

Their Excellencies the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and Mrs. Sharon Johnston are hosting the Annual Conference of the Governor General, Lieutenant Governors and Territorial Commissioners, at Rideau Hall, on June 27 and 28, 2012.
This year’s conference is chaired by His Honour the Honourable David C. Onley, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario. The governor general, lieutenant governors and territorial commissioners meet annually to discuss matters of mutual interests and how they can better serve Canadians from coast to coast to coast.
In 2011, the conference was hosted by His Honour the Honourable John Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, in St John’s.
