The Governor General of Canada received the Special Recognition of Achievement Award from the National Quality Institute (NQI) for her dedication to women, children and Aboriginal people.
Her Excellency received this award from the National Quality Institute’s chair, Mr. Kevin Dougherty (right), and its president, Mr. Allan Ebedes (left).
The ceremony took place at Rideau Hall in the presence of members of the Institute’s board of governors from across Canada and other invited guests.
If you are presenting me with this award today, it is because you share my conviction that we cannot pursue our interests to the detriment of the interests of others.
The NQI is a not-for-profit, independent organization whose goal is to help Canadian private and public sector organizations to implement programs of excellence.
