After attending the Special Olympics Canada Summer Games in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Governor General Arbour travelled to Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, to visit the Okimaw Ohci Healing Lodge.
Her Excellency had the opportunity to listen, learn and engage with Indigenous women, Elders and staff on their experiences with Indigenous-led healing and rehabilitation approaches.
