Ahead of the of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Canada vs Bosnia-Herzegovina opening game in Toronto, Governor General Arbour met with His Excellency Denis Bećirović, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to exchange jerseys and best wishes.

Governor General Arbour was proud to cheer on Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Team at the FIFA World Cup 2026™ in Toronto. Her Excellency was accompanied by Raeem Lennoxio Marsden, a student from the Louise Arbour Secondary School in Brampton, Ontario.

Together, they joined thousands of fans in celebrating Canada's talent, determination and team spirit on the world stage.
