Online Guided Tours of the Residence of the Governor General at the Citadelle

We are pleased to introduce the online guided tour of the Residence of the Governor General at the Citadelle (Québec). From the comfort of your home, join a guide who will virtually lead you through the State rooms of the residence where dignitaries are welcomed and exceptional people are recognized.

This tour allows participants to learn more about the governor general’s daily responsibilities, and to discover the history, architecture and collections of the residence.

The activity is ideal for individuals and groups of participants 12 years of age and older. Each 60-minute tour will be limited to 30 participants to allow for questions and group discussion. The tours are offered free of charge, but registration is required.

In order to participate, all you need is an internet connection, a microphone and a camera-enabled device. The tour will be delivered via the video conferencing app Zoom (a paid Zoom account is not required to participate). Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive a link to the tour and all the information you need to connect.
