Rideau Hall-oween: From Beyond the Grave

OTTAWA – This year, many people celebrated Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation. Unfortunately, the party was so loud it woke the dead!

On Halloween night, the grounds of Rideau Hall will be transformed into a haunted Victorian cemetery. Visitors will be invited to follow a path through the grounds where they might encounter the ghost of a governor general, a zombie chef, or a headless coachman. One thing is certain: the dead will not be forgotten.

Rideau Hall staff will be on hand to distribute goodies to trick-or-treaters of all ages. This year, the public will also have a chance to take a photo with a humongous 770 kilogram pumpkin!
