Her Excellency Sharon Johnston to Speak at the
Canadian Educators Conference on Mental Health

OTTAWA—Her Excellency Sharon Johnston will deliver remarks during the opening ceremonies of the Canadian Educators Conference on Mental Health, on Thursday, April 23, 2015, at 8:15 a.m., at the Delta Ottawa City Centre Hotel.

“As a strong supporter of people, organizations and initiatives that help raise awareness on mental health, I’m very pleased to take part in this conference,” said Her Excellency. “It will provide participants with the opportunity to share practical tools and resources needed to help those who are struggling with mental health challenges.”

Organized by the Mood Disorders Society of Canada (MDSC), the Canadian Educators Conference on Mental Health is a two-day conference aimed at bringing together hundreds of educators and education leaders from across the country with the aim of providing tools, sharing experiences, understanding the latest research and building networks in the field of mental health education.
