National We Day
April 1, 2015 - His Excellency attended the National We Day event at the Canadian Tire Centre, in Ottawa. He shared his views on the importance of giving and volunteering in the community before an audience of 16 000 youth and educators.

Visit to the Québec Region
March 26, 2015 - During Their Excellencies visit to Quebec City, Her Excellency visited the Café-Rencontre du centre-ville and met with staff to learn more about the organization. She also helped with the lunch service and spoke with the beneficiaries.
Visit to Wendake
March 25, 2015 - Their Excellencies were welcomed by Konrad Sioui, Grand Chief and the Family Chiefs of the Huron-Wendat Nation during their visit to Wendake.
Caring Canadian Award Presentation
March 25, 2015 - The Governor General presented the Caring Canadian Award to 23 volunteers from various sectors of society, during a ceremony at the Residence of the Governor General at the Citadelle of Québec.

Presentation of Decorations for Bravery
March 6, 2015 - The Governor General presented 40 Medals of Bravery to exceptional individuals who risked their lives to try to save or protect the lives of others.
Visit to Northern British Columbia - Day 3
March 3, 2015 - During his last day in Northern British Columbia, the Governor General joined youth from the region for a hike on Tow Hill at Naikoon Provincial Park hiking trail, alongside the shores of the Hiellen River.
