Termination of Appointment to the Order
of Merit of the Police Forces of Sergeant Warren S. Gherasim
OTTAWA - On July 24, 2010, notice was published in the Canada Gazette stating that the appointment of Sergeant Warren S. Gherasim to the Order of Merit of the Police Forces has been terminated.
According to article 23(c) and Article 24 of the Constitution of the Order of Merit of the Police Forces, a revocation takes place when the governor general makes an ordinance terminating the person’s membership in the Order.
The termination of Sergeant Warren S. Gherasim’s appointment to the Order of Merit of the Police Forces is related to a disgraceful conduct sanction ordered by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Sergeant Warren S. Gherasim was appointed Member of the Order of Merit of Police Forces on January 19, 2006, and the termination took effect March 4, 2010.
