The Citadelle of Québec has been is the official home and workplace of Canada’s governors general since 1872. As a guide-interpreter, you will welcome thousands of visitors, including dignitaries, students and tourists.
In addition to meeting all the eligibility criteria for the Federal Student Work Experience Program candidates must have completed at least one semester of undergraduate university courses.
Candidates should also possess excellent communication skills in French and English. A good understanding of Canadian history, as well as work experience as a guide-interpreter, tourist guide or with the general public, would be an asset.
Only candidates who meet the job requirements will be contacted for a group interview, which will be held in February 2013. A second language test will be administered during the hiring process.
